About mealsThe hoshihana village dining menu offers a variety of dishes, includingtraditional Thai cuisine, TaiYai cuisine, Auntie Ta’s vegetarian dishes and Western. Those willing to try something new will surely find some unusual dishes on our menu.
Take the chance to try our Tai-Yai dishes. Tai-Yai refers to an ethnic group that primarily lives in the Shan state, in Myanmar. The dishes use lots of fresh vegetables, including beans and herbs and are not too spicy. The unusual herbs used in the dishes provide unique textures and flavors, very different from Thai cuisine. The slightly chewy Tai Yai noodles are a must try.
For vegetarians (and of course for non-vegetarians too!), we offer dishes that have been specifically developed by Auntie Ta for hoshihana village. She is a vegetarian celebrity chef from Chiangmai and has even been featured in cooking shows in Japan.
Her dishes are flavorful and healthy and can be enjoyed by both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
